Hey! I'm Alex, an avid trail runner and an experienced run / endurance coach. An expert when it comes to ultra running and a true specialist in strength & conditioning. I've guided hundreds of individuals to reach their awesome goals from just starting their running journey to 200 milers across Scotland. Selecting a coach can certainly be a challenge, I want to make it a simple & streamline process for you.

I genuinely believe I offer the complete package when it comes remote coaching, it's certainly a popular way to progress, stay on track and when working myself I am truly passionate about helping you accomplish your goals. I believe there are 4 main pillars when it comes to helping you level up.

Bespoke

After looking at your fitness history and completing some bench mark tests.. I am able to build a structured and periodised training program for yourself specific to you and the goals which you set out to accomplish.

 

These programs are designed around your lifestyle... You'll be able to leave feedback after each session which then is reviewed by myself. 

These sessions are delivered via an app and can be linked to your smartwatch allowing you to complete the session set for you.

Conditioning

Including some S&C in your training program is paramount to building strength and a robust body to help prevent injuries. 

I am able to offer you a full S&C plan to ensure your getting the best out of yourself. From home gym sessions with minimal kit to having full gym access.

Every session has full detail and is complete with rep ranges, video demo, written description and the ability to log your weights / rep allowing you to strive for progression and be confident in completing the sessions set for you. 

Nutrition 

Guidance 

Learning how to fuel your training sessions to perform optimally is key to long term progress, staying healthy & aiding good recovery.  

Often we look at a complete week and make small changes which bring big benefits. Small steps compounding overtime really will allow for consistency and we build upon this to really nail how you feel and fuel during your sessions.

When completing longer distance events often people struggle to really perfect their nutrition.

I will give you the tools to help with this so its something you won't even need to think about.  

Event

Planning

Having a solid and robust plan ahead of any event is often the key to enjoying the event itself and achieving what you've set out to complete! 

Knowing you have trained specifically to your chosen event will give you confidence, knowing how to pace yourself, what kit to use and when/what to eat

I've completed many ultra distance races so have the experience and knowledge to pass onto you. I love the challenge these I am truly passionate about helping other achieve their goals!
